About Hamdan Girls'

Hamdan Girls’ High School is a private day and boarding school donated by sheikh Hamdan Bin Al Rashid Al-Maktoum of the United Arab Emirates through Munazzamat Al Dawat Al-Islamiayyah. It was opened in 1999 under the leadership of the late Dr. Zaitun Kituyi Nsubuga may her soul rest in eternal peace. It is a Muslim founded school that upholds core Islamic values and principles. The school is however open to all irrespective of one’s religious affiliation, cultural or national background.

The school is located in the heart of Mbale town along Maluku road. It is no doubt located in a cool, and serenely beautiful environment convenient for the teaching-learning process.

REGISTRATION STATUS

The school is registered with the Ministry of Education, Sports, Science and Technology under Registration Number PSS/H/44.The school has a UNEB Centre number – U1035. The students therefore have the convenience to sit their national examinations within the school premises.
